Elena Zelinskaya
Elena Zelinskaya is a journalist, writer, and public figure.

She was born in Saint Petersburg. She has lived in the Balkans since 2014. During her career as a journalist, she has worked on radio and television programs, written scripts and made documentary films. Her first novel, "On the Rivers of Babylon", was published in 2011, followed by travelogues and historical documentaries. In 2019-2021, she published a trilogy about her travels in the Balkans: "My Beautiful Serbia", "My Delicious Serbia", and "My Healthy Serbia". The short story "Balkan Decameron" was the first part of his reflection on the life of Russian emigrants. It was followed by the novel "The Last Russians Were Seen in Belgrade", which for the first time combined the history of the first Russian ‘white’ emigrants into a single stream with the new wave of modern ‘relocants.’
The children's story "The True Story of Robinson Crusoe" is the story of a sailor who became the prototype for the famous hero, telling of man's desire for freedom, above all spiritual freedom. This book was published by the Swiss publishing house Sandermoen Publishing in 2025. The book is published in hardcover with magnificent hand-drawn illustrations by Lydia Novikova.
